Use of Service

  • You agree not to use the platform for unlawful or prohibited purposes.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Cloud Access & Security

By connecting your cloud infrastructure to Securitain, you grant us read-only access to perform security assessments. You acknowledge that:

  • Securitain operates exclusively in read-only mode and will never modify your cloud resources
  • You are responsible for ensuring proper permissions are granted for our security scans
  • You maintain full control over your cloud infrastructure and can revoke access at any time
  • Security findings and recommendations are provided for informational purposes
  • Implementation of security recommendations is at your discretion and responsibility

Pricing & Plans

  • Pricing is transparent and listed on our website.
  • We may update pricing; you will be notified at least 30 days before changes apply to existing subscriptions.
  • Any promotional offers will have their own specific terms and conditions.
  • Free trial periods are provided without obligation, but may have feature or usage limitations.
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.

Intellectual Property

All content, software, code, branding, and design elements of the Securitain platform are the property of Cloudain LLC.

  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission
  • You retain ownership of your data and cloud infrastructure configurations
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized data for product improvement and industry research
  • Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used to improve our services

Service Availability & Liability

Securitain is provided "as is" with industry-standard service levels:

  • We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from service use
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We provide security recommendations but are not responsible for the implementation or results
  • You acknowledge that no security solution can prevent all threats or vulnerabilities

Data & Privacy

Your privacy and data security are paramount to us:

  • We comply with applicable data protection regulations including GDPR and CCPA
  • Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption
  • We maintain SOC 2 Type II compliance and undergo regular security audits
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as outlined in our Privacy Policy
  • You can request data deletion upon account termination, subject to legal retention requirements

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms after appropriate notice
  • We may discontinue the service with 90 days advance notice
  • Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but data retention follows our Privacy Policy
  • Termination does not relieve obligations incurred prior to the termination date
